If the Mets scored half the runners stranded this year, we would have been in First Place. I see a leadoff double and my reaction had changed from, Ok let’s get 2 to three runs this inning to, oh well this is meaningless. Regardless of the result of today’s ball game, I am “outraged” at this teams performance in the clutch. With bases loaded and zero out, I would be going head over heals for a run. Maybe things will be turning around in the distant future, but then again, maybe we will continue to slide….
