Here’s some good news for June 26th, we’re 5.5 games out of first, and I must say I don’t recall the last time so much optimism surrounded a ball club. We just split a series with the best team in baseball “I’ll take it!” And see more hope! While last night’s loss started off bad, we gave it a fighting chance! My new goal is to be three games out of first place by the All-Star break, which would be just as good as achieving June Plan, which seems out of reach. Let’s be happy with where we are and how are still in contention. If we win three out of four in Pittsburgh we will be fine! The big test will be the series in Atlanta, as they are a championship caliber team. maybe with a win here
and a win there, we can be 2 games out of first come All Star Break! Lets make this a fun summer!
