For those of you who remeber Opening Day, you might remember the first of the three Met home runs on the day was a 3 run blast from Andrew Brown.

Brown’s forte has always been his power, something the Mets have been deprived of, and he is on the 40 man roster. It’s strange to see a journeyman that is on the 40 man roster not get called up, especially when the Mets have injuries to Matt den Dekker and Juan Lagares. Also, he is a valuable bat of the bench.
