On Memorial Day Weekend, My Family took a trip up to the prestigious village of Cooperstown, NY. Now, on a normal day, Cooperstown is a blast, but there was some flare in the air as a special game was played, thats right, it was the Hall  Of Fame Classic! Stars from the AL like: Brady Anderson (Orioles), Eddie Guardado (Mariners), David Eckstein (Angels), Adam Everett (Astros), Alex Gonzalez (Blue Jays), Scott Hatteberg (A’s), Todd Jones (Tigers), Pedro Martinez (Red Sox), Hideki Matsui (Yankees), Carl Pavano (Twins), Ivan Rodriguez (Rangers), Aaron Rowand (White Sox), Mike Sweeney (Royals), Jim Thome (Indians) and Dan Wheeler (Rays). And the NL greats like:
Marlon Anderson (Phillies), Edgardo Alfonzo (Mets), Steve Avery (Braves), Vinny Castilla (Rockies), Brady Clark (Brewers), Jeff Conine (Marlins), Steve Garvey (Dodgers), Luis Gonzalez (Diamondbacks), Gary Thurman (Nationals), Todd Hollandsworth (Cubs), Mark Kotsay (Padres), Kerry Robinson (Cardinals), Kirk Rueter (Giants), Reggie Sanders (Reds) and Jack Wilson (Pirates). All of these former All-Stars came out to DoubleDay Field to play a game of Baseball. In this rain shortened 6 inning affair, we saw Pudge Rodriguez, Matsui and Thome hit home runs, we saw former Met Pedro Martinez have a 1-2-3 inning, it was so fun! The best part was  the after party at the Otesaga Resort Hotel, and boy was it a blast!
